Take (竹) Heart
is a bamboo sculpture concieved during my 4-week artist residency at Studio Kura. The artist house and studio I lived and worked in was situated in front of a bamboo forest. I have never worked with bamboo before, and the proximity to an abundance of it informed the final piece.
