Fongyee is an artist and child culture designer developing participatory design methods to expand children’s influence in decisions and design processes that concern them. She does this through facilitation, material exploration and relational work with them.
Fongyee is a BA(Hons) Graphic Communication Design graduate (2017) from Central Saint Martins, London and MFA Child Culture Design graduate (2025) from HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design, Gothenburg. Between completing her BA and starting her MFA, she was a Teaching Assistant at School of Machines Berlin, Creative Chief, Product Lead and Coding Facilitator at Saturday Kids Japan, and Creative Producer at Superhero Me Singapore.
She is currently living and working in Singapore, where she is expanding her practice to shape policy and public spaces alongside young people. She writes intermittently about her learnings and unlearnings with kids at radiococo.substack.com
